我與Arduino

我終於要同Arduino交戰了....一個月的時間，不知道是否足以由網上購買 ---> 等貨到(等運到) ---> 測試 ---> 到識用的過程....

第一次風聞有你係去年12月底，一個有點詩意又有點寒冷的大排擋setting之下．．但一直都不以為意，眼見到一排如斯電子的電路版，就算聽人講你幾好用，幾易用，都係另一回事．．

第二次聽到你個名，係上個禮拜既一封信．．．唉，看來為左我既理想，我不得不跟你對著幹．．．

花了一個晚上，看僅有既blogs & websites，都還是似懂非懂，而且又好像並非他們所說的那麼容易．．．我連什麼是面包版 (breadboard) 仲未搞得清楚．．．此時此刻，讓我想起我讀電機掟機電既堂細佬~~~~~

看來，我的幸福，都是在你手上了，Arduino

Wearable Technology....已不是什麼新鮮事
今次又係Philips既搞作....點解佢地可以咁得閒搞埋ｄ咁既野既~ 真係羨慕....

過癮係過癮....
但成日凝住依種 fashion 著出街落雨濕水的話會觸電~~~
不過如果羅黎行 fashion show 應該夠過癮....

如果可以的話，可以帶著背包到處走、到處看展覽，這個禮拜去上海，下禮拜去台灣，那多好。不能去，也只好安慰自己說，那個展覽沒什麼特別罷了。

曾經，fancy about body interaction，因為我們不需要keyboard & mouse，就能用最與生俱來的body language來跟電腦作interaction。但這些年來，看多了，卻反而感到膩呢，好久沒看到一個body interaction讓我感動過。不得不開始認同Jeff Han較早前的一番話“I was really sick of these really lame art projects where you wave your hand around, kind of like an iToy. I just didn't like that.”

我猜Jeff Han家裡一定沒有wii.

現在看interaction，看visitors' reactions倒比看作品有趣．．．

早前，去戲院睇Shrek 3之時，開場前看到Simpsons trailer(即係英文網站裡面的Teaser1)，裡面精景的開場白，已令我決定今個暑假要好好入戲院睇一趟Simpsons，以重見2D Animation的魅力!!

ArtRage 2.0

還是積極寫點網誌才好...

不知是否我後知後覺，今日透過newsletter才知道有ArtRage，光看demo，就覺得它的interface較一般專業繪圖軟件user-friendly，也比小畫家功能來得多．

ArtRage 2.0, a freeware painting tool, good for kids or fresh graphic users. The main point is... it only needs 2.5MB hard disk space, and it has a simple & user-friendly interface.

There are many things you can laugh at in this world.

Today I just read a magazine which mentioned about London 2012 Olympic logo. It analysis its pros and cons, well, actually it's making jokes on it.

It's so-called “Oh-no” logo. Hahaha…. This name completely reflects how people think of it. “This is a logo which took a year to design and has to help raise £2bn of private money to pay for the running of the Games.”quoted from BBC. I just don't know what they are doing?!!! Is it so-called British design? Oh, come on....

Londoners hate it, British hate it, the people who ever see this logo hate it.

So here we go....

Andrew Robinson: "The five colours represent Olympic tradition. Also a bundle of taxpayers money going down the drain."

I think, London 2012 Olympic logo, in another word, does encourage the “ordinary” people starts to try on design. Hahah, it does has its own pros really.
